Presently there is probably the greatest level of work dissatisfaction in the history of our post-Industrial Revolution society. Work dissatisfaction effects the individuals, families, and communities of the people involved. It contributes to growing domestic and workplace violence as well as healthcare costs.

"Nothing has a stronger influence psychologically on their environment, and especially on their children, than the unlived lives of the parents" - Carl Jung (1875-1961, Swiss psychiatrist, psychologist)

How does one choose the right vocation?

Knowing your dreams and talents is paramount. But there is nothing like experience to show you what your vocation should or should not be.

  • The best way to know what a vocation is like is to experience it first-hand.
  • The next best way is to experience a vocation through the people who actually have it.

The goal of this site is to become a comprehensive repository of "experiential reviews"--the inside scoop from those working "in the field".

The vision we have is that during their career research process, after identifying those vocations which match their dreams and talents, students will look up those prospective careers in this database, find out what the professionals really like and dislike about them and contact them for further opinions if they like.

Armed with this "real life" information, they are much better prepared to choose the path that is best for THEM.
